General Information

Club gear will be available and will consist of T-shirt, hoodies, zephyrs (old-fashioned t-shirts), thermal base-layers and casual weatherproof jackets with the club crest. The club welcomes any further suggestions to expand the range.

While there are a number of rules and regulations, these are primarily aimed at members’ own welfare. The club is run by members for members and all ideas and suggestions that would improve the club are welcome. As the club is in its infancy it is mindful that flexibility and openness are key. Ideas and contacts regarding sponsorship will also be very welcome.

The club runs social evenings with members gathering together for a sociable drop or two every second Thursday in varying venues throughout the city.

The club intends to regularly run touring weekends (during the better weather!) to the Shannon/Erne region, trips down the Liffey into town and sea-rowing trips.

Please note that other clubs have experienced break-ins and burglaries even when members were present. It is advised not to bring any valuables down to training and if needs be members should keep any valuables on them. The club will have a secure room available for storage for bags etc. during outings. It is hoped that the club will eventually be able to secure lockers.
